Your aggressive responses and expletives betray your fuzzy logic and ignorance of facts. You talk of intolerance. Have you ever contemplated how it crept into Indian culture. Muslims,worldwide, started veering towards Wahhabi Islam. They started to shun Sufism, Shias,Ahmadiyas, Boras etc. Wahhabi tenets propelled them towards isolation, aggression and intolerance towards the non believers.This intolerance gave birth to Jehad-- which was of course, tainted in jingoistic ethos.
Multiple hijackings,kidnappings, arson, murder bombings started happening, leading to barbaric massacre of innocent people and wanton destruction of property worldwide as a result. WHO raised a voice against this? Only excuses ans lame justifications came forth from Muslim scholars. Can you name any organization or a sect of Islamists who protested against this brazenly and bravely? You talk only about Shaheen Bagh!
The message which the world got was of tacit support of Muslims worldwide to this enchanting extremism thus transfixing Muslim masses to the idea of Jihad.
Even in our country, the Muslims started behaving differently. The idea of 'looking different ' took hold. Oversized kurtas and undersized pyjamas,long beards with shaven upper lips, skull caps and black scars on foreheads came into vogue.
There was a major shift towards building large mosques and madarssas. Sermons therein exhorted the common Muslims to unite in religion and rise against the 'Kaffirs' who were out to destroy Islam. The common Muslims were frightened by the clergy of an imaginary Hindu belligerence, which in fact didn't exist!
What the hardcore Wahhabis didn't realize is that they systematically destroyed the fabric of secularism and gave rise to a fear in the minds of non-believers. This fear gave origin to Hindu aggression.
Did you or your ilk ever come out of your comfort zone to infuse reason and enlighten your misguided brethren who had strayed?--NEVER!
Thus started the great divide between the two communities in our country ( and in many other developed nations also ). All political parties made capital out of this-- BJP included. Point to ponder is whether the onus of washing this off remains the sole responsibility of the Hindus alone!
